About the event

How does hypnosis work for persistent pain? A look at the research and its practical application.

As a physiotherapist I am trained to use safe, evidence based treatment for our clients. As a hypnotist, the same principle applies. But how does hypnosis actually help manage and reduce pain?

By the end of this presentation you’ll discover the evidence around the physiological underpinnings of how hypnosis works, and how it can be safely and easily used to reduce persistent pain. You may be surprised how this may make your practice safer and more effective as well.

The more we all heal, the more we all heal.

Danyel Degenhardt has a Master's of Physiotherapy. He uses a hybrid Hypno Physio approach to support clients with complex and persistent pain.

He also teaches other health professionals across New Zealand to do the same in his Hypnotic Pain Principles & Techniques Course. His next course is November 19th and 20th at the Rotorua Hospital, with registration closing October 31st. Use coupon code NZAPH100OFF in order to receive a $100 discount.
